Game Modding in Unity: Tools of the Trade

This is my first blog entry & contribution to the Unity AND HashNode communities! I've been pretty excited about learning Unity game modding & development during my downtime and I thought it might be a good idea to compile my findings to make life easier for the next developer who comes along looking to get started quickly.

This is by no means a comprehensive list & some of the tools might deprecate others (sorry if that's the case). These are simply the tools I've been exposed to so far as a beginner to the hobby/craft. Each tool will link you to the download source (all GitHub repos):

In case you haven't downloaded Unity yet, here's a link to that as well.

If there are any tools that I've been missed or just deserve honorable mention, feel free to provide the name and a link in the comments and I'll be sure to check it out and update the list accordingly. I also plan to revise this list once I become more familiar with modding and settle into a toolset.

Hope you enjoyed this short article, happy modding!
